Welcome to the April newsletter. It finally feels like spring and we have so many things to tell you about! It is going to be a wonderful May!

here is a little of what happened since the last newsletter!
Cobblestone Clubhouse Small Business Fair - Sunday April 22nd
Sophia getting 3rd place recognition in the 5th-7th grade category in the recent Fredericksburg Park and Recreation’s Children’s Art Show
Our first travel show - Frederick County, Virginia - Mini I’m Determined Conference in Winchester, VA
Sophia delivering one of her pieces to a member of Holy Trinity’s Sheppard’s Flock Community
Upcoming Events!
May 5th:
Sophia will be in Art in the Park at Hurkamp Park in Fredericksburg with the Farmer's Market - https://www.facebook.com/FXBGFarmersMarket/
May 11th:
Sophia will be at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg watching her brother Miguel graduating from college.
May 19th (morning):
Sophia will drop by WUSA studios in Washington, DC with her family and be interviewed by Debra Alfarone, a WUSA reporter.
AND THEN...
Constantly Becoming
Solo Art Show
Opening Reception:
May 19th, From 2-5 pm
Sophia will have her first art show at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC - Constantly Becoming. Thirty pieces of her work on large canvas will be on display in the main corridor of the hospital with a reception from 2-5 pm.
Everyone is invited!
Her works will be on display for approximately three months.

To coincide with Constantly Becoming, Sophia's first solo art show, we are adding a number of new frames to the sophiola.com shop! All of these works are among the 30 canvases that will be featured in the art show.
