News and Hues
Hello and welcome to the sophiola.com newsletter! It's been a month of exciting plans and developments and we are thrilled to be able to share them with you.
Upcoming Events in April
Sophia and her father will join other advocates from across the country in Washington, DC for the annual National Down Syndrome Society Buddy Walk on Washington Program. We will be talking with Senators and Congressman about various pieces of legislation and policy matters to benefit those with Down Syndrome and other disabilities. Check out their website for details.
Sophia and her father will be giving a workshop and talking with folks about her art and the creation of Sophiola at the Frederick County Schools I’m Determined Mini-Summit. We hope to inspire others to create businesses and opportunities for their loved ones. More information on their website.
Sophiola will be part of a small business vendor fair at Cobblestone Square in Fredericksburg, Virginia in the Community Center from 10am to 1 pm. All are invited to attend.
Sophia will continue taking art and pottery lessons at Libertytown during the month as well as continuing her ballet and swim lessons.
New in the Shop
We are so delighted and grateful for all the attention and love we have received in the sophiola.com shop!
As we head into April (and, we hope, into Spring) we have added a new group of Sophia's art prints.
Take a look in the shop to learn more!
We have had a lot of questions about Sophia's art prints in custom (larger) sizes. We wanted to let everyone know we can do custom art print orders in various sizes on canvas, metal or acrylic of selected prints.
If you would like to know more send us an email!
As always: sososo much thanks for your support!
