December is here! That means holiday markets, trees full of lights and maybe, just maybe, a snowman or two!


What We Did Last Month:

We made a visit to The Kennedy Center!

 

Sophia at the policy event at American University Law School and we got to spend Election Day learning how to vote!

 

Coming up in December!

December 6th, 7th & 8th:

Sophiola will be at the Christkindlmarkt at the Heurich House Museum just off DuPont Circle in Washington, DC (1307 New Hampshire Ave, NW).  The VIP Preview Event will be Friday, December 6th from 4-8pm and the event will also be held Saturday, December 7th from 12pm to 8 pm and Sunday, December 8th from 12pm to 6 pm.  Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door.

 

December 14th:

Sophiola will be at the 2nd Annual FAMFair KrisKringlmarkt in Market Square in Fredericksburg on Saturday, December 14th from 10 am to 5pm. 

 

December 15th - 19th:

Sophiola will be at the Pozez Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia for their 3rd Annual Holiday Fundraiser that showcases the arts and gifts of individuals living with disabilities and/or mental illness.  The Center is located at 8900 Little River Turnpike in Fairfax, Virginia.   Sophiola will be present at the Community Center on Sunday, December 15th from 10 am to 5pm and Sophiola products for purchase will also be available from December 16th through December 19th from 8:30 am to 11 am and from 4:30pm to 6 pm. 

 

December 21st:

Sophiola will end the year at the South of the James Farmer’s Market in Richmond on December 21st from 9 am to 12 pm.

December 21st & 22nd:

An annual tradition, Sophia will be part of Fredericksburg Academy of Ballet’s Nutcracker performance in some way (she broke two toes in October and they are healing) on Saturday, December 21st at 7pm and again on December 22nd at 2pm.  Performances are held at her school – The James Monroe High School in the City of Fredericksburg.
