Welcome to the sophiola.com newsletter. Summer is in full swing and we aren't going to let a little bit of rain slow us down!
But First... here is a little of what happened since the last newsletter!
July was very busy but thanks to everyone who came by the Sophiola tent/booth and/or made internet purchases. We were in Richmond, Fredericksburg, Washington, DC and...
It was wonderful meeting so many new and existing friends at the National Down Syndrome Congress Convention in Dallas, Texas. Many thanks for making us feel so welcomed.
Sophia’s Children’s National Medical Center Art Show in Washington, DC officially ended July 13th. Many thanks to those who viewed her art, attended the reception and bought her art work.
Sophia currently has her work on display at the Children’s National Foundation offices in Silver Spring, Maryland, the office of Ricardo A. Perez, DDS., PC (Metropolitan Pediatric Dentistry) in Chevy Chase, Maryland and Cary Street Partners (a Luxon Financial Company) in Richmond, Virginia.
And Then More Camp!
Sophiola will be at the Fredericksburg Farmer’s Market (Art in the Park).
Sophiola will be at the Cary Street Farmers Market in Richmond.
Sophia is continuing to learn independence - this week she is at St. Elizabeth’s Camp at Shrine Mont, run by the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia.

Reception for Sophia’s first Fredericksburg art show/exhibit at the Fredericksburg Area Museum. The show/exhibit will run from October through December. More details to follow in our September news.
