At Liberty Town Arts Workshop, a team of jurors selected Sophia’s “Bluebirds Red House” to be part of the exhibition, Birds and (Capy)Baras!, A National Juried Show. The show opens at Liberty Town on July 5. Not in Fredericksburg? Check out Liberty Town’s Facebook page on July 5 at 1:00 pm (ET) for a walkthrough of the exhibit. All art will be listed for sale at Liberty Town’s site.

We're hard at work on a new mural led by Gabriel Pons. We're at The Oberle Academy painting with Gabe, his team, RappArts, and lots of people from the community. Updates soon!

Sophiola is headed to the National Down Syndrome Congress Conference in Orlando in July. The Sophiola booth will be up and ready for business! Sophia also will participate in the Youth and Adult Conference and head to a few dances.

Sophia had a blast at camp – she loves getting away in nature (“no parents!”) and enjoyed swimming, archery, horseback riding, and a talent show. No surprise that she was voted “Best Dancer/Evil Queen.” She also loved dancing in The Fredericksburg Academy of Ballet's production of Snow White this spring. Sophia danced as a bluebird, a blackbird, and a court dancer.
