Summer is almost here! That means street fairs, art shows and… Summer Vacation!

What We Did Last Month:

We had a wonderful First Friday in the Richmond Arts District with our new friends – Celia and Jim Sease, Paul McCourt Curley and Prudence Justis.   Many thanks to Matt Sease and his friends as well – they provided the wonderful music that evening.

During May, Sophiola was at Irvington Farmer’s Market in the Northern Neck, Art in the Park in Fredericksburg and the Charlottesville Farmer’s Market.

Sophia danced in The Fredericksburg City Ballet Company’s Swan Lake as well!

Sophia attended the Global Down Syndrome Foundation’s AcceptAbility Gala in Washington, DC (she is pictured with the Co-Founder and Executive Director Michelle Sie Whitten and other folks from Global).

Sophia is now a featured artist in Libertytown Arts Workshop in Fredericksburg, VA – with a wall of works available for purchase!

This Saturday, Sophia completes the last of her sacraments of initiation into the Catholic Church – her confirmation at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Washington, DC (our parish).
